Republic Services provides a city-wide clean-up service two (2) times per year for residents who currently pay for city trash service. This is a free service included for eligible residents.
Clean-up events are held once in the spring and once in the fall. Dates will be announced once they are scheduled.
Important Information
- NO MAKEUP DAYS will be scheduled
- This is a FREE SERVICE for eligible trash service customers
- Residents are responsible for reviewing prohibited items
- Any items left behind remain the responsibility of the resident
Curbside Guidelines
To ensure pickup:
- All items must be placed at the curbside for collection
- Items must be out by the night before pickup
- Loose items must be bagged
- Cardboard must be bundled and secured
- Toilets must have tanks and bowls separated
- Mattresses must be wrapped in plastic
- Items must be placed at the curb to be removed
Helpful Tip
To avoid missed items, place everything at the curb the night before pickup.
Items NOT Allowed for Curbside Cleanup
Hazardous & Liquid Materials
- Oil, paint, sheetrock mud, floor glue, batteries
- Fluorescent light bulbs
- Pesticides, insecticides, chemicals
Appliances & Large Items
- Stoves, refrigerators, deep freezers
- Dishwashers, washers, dryers
- Microwaves, hot water heaters
- Furnaces, air conditioners
- Freon tanks, propane tanks
Other Prohibited Items
- Railroad ties, tires
- Burnt trash, yard waste, household trash
